About the Role As the Manager - People and Wellbeing, you will lead the HR function with a focus on supporting, motivating, and inspiring staff and volunteers.
You will work closely with the Director of Shared Services, leaders and stakeholders to deliver a successful People and Wellbeing strategy aligned with our mission and values.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coaching and guiding staff and managers on HR policies, performance management, and workplace relations.Driving initiatives to enhance employee and volunteer wellbeing, safety, and engagement.Leading recruitment, onboarding, and development for new staff and volunteers.Reviewing and implementing people, safety, and wellbeing policies to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices.Collaborating with leadership to deliver impactful training and development initiatives.Creating a positive workplace culture by building trust, promoting diversity, and encouraging collaboration.About You We're seeking a dynamic HR professional with:
A tertiary qualification (or relevant experience) in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Employment Law, or a related field.Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in the community or legal sector.Strong expertise in contemporary HR practices, industrial relations, and safety and wellbeing frameworks.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams.A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a track record of driving process improvements.A person-centred philosophy that aligns with ECLC's values.Why Join ECLC?
