About the role
As a vital member of the People & Culture (P&C) Branch, your role will focus on VGSO's strategic initiatives regarding psychological and physical health and safety, and wellbeing services throughout the organisation.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of positive mental health strategies and effective relationship management frameworks.
This role involves providing advice, coaching and training to managers and employees, as well as policy and system development and implementation, together with preparing and analysing health, safety and wellbeing data to assist managers in identifying trends and preventative strategies.
Skills and experience
Extensive experience in psychological safety with proven ability to develop, drive and strategically align wellbeing strategies and frameworks.
Experience working with professional services, health and wellbeing support services or a corporate environment is highly regarded.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement with proven experience in reviewing, designing and updating policies and procedures.
Experience designing and delivering fit-for-purpose wellbeing workshops and initiatives.
Solid knowledge of relevant OH&S legislation, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in providing advice to senior levels on high risk/impact matters.
Significant experience in developing, managing and influencing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build credibility.
Ability to deal with matters confidently, tactfully and discreetly.
Insight into the challenges and pressures of working in a legal services context is desirable.
