Overview of the role As Manager, Organisational Change Management (Chapter Lead), you will be responsible for leading a team of Change professionals aligned to Suncorp's Agile delivery practice to achieve transformational ways of working, focused on improving the speed, efficiency, and agility of our delivery practices.
You will manage the supply of Change Managers and Analysts into cross-functional delivery teams and set standards, principles, and best practices for Agile Change Management.
What you'll do: Leadership:Lead and develop the capability of a team of Change practitioners through effective coaching, mentoring, professional development, and performance management.Create a team environment which is seen as an attractive career destination for internal and external candidates.Develop Chapter Expertise:Build capability and develop mastery in Change Management to help Tribes advance their mission and achieve customer and business outcomes.Effectively manage the supply and demand for Change Management practitioners to meet Tribe demand.Identify expertise and resource gaps and train or recruit the talent needed to address them.Review and approve readiness and success measures, actively inspect achievement of outcomes against objectives, cross-pollinate key learnings and best practices.Change Management Framework:Define Change Management guardrails and best practices and ensure the 'how' of the work performed by Chapter members is aligned.Work closely with the Enterprise Change Management team to continuously improve the way change is managed across Suncorp.Complete quality assurance reviews of delivery artefacts, coach and advise on and/or address deviations from the agreed framework and methodology.Delivery Excellence:Champion a delivery excellence culture and mindset.Support the development, rollout, and adoption of best-in-class delivery models including ways of working, practices, processes, and behaviours.What you'll bring: 8+ years working as a Change Manager on complex projects.3 to 5 years leadership experience, building capability and managing resourcing requirements.Exceptional stakeholder engagement with expertise in building and influencing successful business relationships.Experience working in financial services (preferably insurance).Experience with Agile, Lean, and waterfall methodology.Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organising, decision making, and delegation.Flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities.Skilled ability to work in a dynamic leadership team, contributing to the overall goals of the company.What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave, and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching, and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.If this opportunity sounds like the challenge you have been looking for, please apply online today.
