This key position will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to strengthen Pembroke's engagement with its old scholar community, fostering lasting connections that support the broader strategic objectives of the school and its community.
The School Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Pembroke offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma and the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Pembroke staff and students are encouraged to delight in learning, work and the exploration of their own potential.
The Role In this highly engaging role, you will partner closely with the Pembroke Old Scholar's Association (POSA) to coordinate and deliver programs to connect existing alumni and engage current students.
Core responsibilities include:
Developing programs to engage old scholars through reunions, special interest activities, and School events.Leading career-focused initiatives that connect current students with old scholars.Establishing recognition systems for old scholar achievements, such as awards and profiles, to build pride and engagement.Creating a social media strategy to enhance engagement and foster lifelong connections with the School.Improving communication channels and accessibility for the old scholar network.Collaborating with the Development Office, Future Pathways team, Publications Manager, and Old Scholars' Association to support active community involvement. About You The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Substantial experience in alumni relations or stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record in delivering successful communications across digital, social media, and print platforms.Expertise in planning, organising, and executing high-quality events that support strategic engagement objectives.Proficiency in data management systems and an ability to drive effective communication outcomes.Strong relationship management skills, capable of inspiring trust and building connections with diverse stakeholders.A commitment to the values of Pembroke School, with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.Demonstrated experience in the education sector will be highly regarded.
