What's in it for you? We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our growing tax practice in our National Partner Tax Services team.
It's an exciting time to join our newly established high performing team. The role will deliver great opportunities for you to work with a dedicated team providing a range of tax services to EY Partners and their family groups.
Your key responsibilities You will be central to delivering pragmatic solutions to help our EY Partners solve complex income tax challenges and efficiently manage their tax compliance responsibilities.
As a Manager in the National Partner Tax Services team, you will:
Manage and review financial reporting and tax compliance services to EY Partners and their family groups, including trusts, companies and other privately owned entities. Support the provision of tax advice to EY Partners to achieve an optimal outcome from a structuring and planning perspective. Assist EY Partners to strengthen their tax governance and to facilitate and manage dealings with the ATO. Work closely with our global delivery services hub on the delivery of the above, including training and development of the team. What we're looking for Solid experience in tax and accounting compliance services to individuals and private family groups with passive investments, including provision of tax advice. Good understanding of accounting concepts and experience in reviewing financial statements for a variety of entities including trusts and companies. Demonstrated ability to research and interpret taxation legislation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to delegate to, coach and mentor junior team members. The ability to work autonomously, within a team and with our Partners. Eagerness to learn, develop new skills and to keep up to date with changes in taxation law.
