About the opportunity:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for the mining industry?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Manager Mineral Tenements.
This pivotal role involves leading the Mineral Tenements team and program, ensuring compliance with the Mining Act 1971 and associated regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Mineral Tenements team.Administer the Mining Act 1971 and associated regulations.Ensure the grant and management of mining and exploration tenure comply with all relevant legislation.Plan, manage, and implement critical policies and procedures.Achieve business objectives and provide high levels of service to the state.About You:A strong background in mining or a related field.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent understanding of the Mining Act 1971 and associated regulations.Strong planning, organisational, and implementation skills.Committed to achieving high standards of service and compliance.About us:

Key Selection Criteria:Please only address the dot points listed below in your applicationExperience in the analysis of complex issues and draw logical and well supported conclusionsExperience in people and project managementComprehensive knowledge of current Government legislation, policies and programs relating to mining and exploration in the stateWell-developed written and verbal communications skills with the ability to consistently provide quality advice to decision makers and enabling the transfer of complex information to Executive, senior management and staff at all levels.Qualifications:Qualifications in management, policy or legal related discipline are highly desirable.
Remuneration:ASO8 $121,107 - $125,679 + superannuation
Ongoing full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
Special Conditions:Some out of hours work and intra-state travel (including overnight absences) may be required.This position is classified as a designated position and as such, appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance screening check.Application Instructions:Applicants are required to submit a curriculum vitae and written application of no more than two pages, demonstrating their suitability for the role by addressing the key selection criteria above.
