Our opportunity
The Manager, Legal Services (DA and Litigation) manages one of the Legal Services' teams in LPC Division. The Legal Services (DA and Litigation) team is focused on providing legal advice for all investigations, disciplinary actions, and prosecution work undertaken by the VGCCC.
Key accountabilities

Provides timely, authoritative, and high-quality legal advice that aligns with the VGCCC's strategic ambition.
Oversees the conduct of prosecutions and contested litigation on behalf of the VGCCC and represents the Commission in key legal forums.
Provides the Commission with legal guidance relating to investigations, disciplinary actions, and prosecution matters.

To be successful in this position you will have:

A track record in the conduct and/or management of multiple contested litigation in a complex environment; handling a large workload involving complex legal matters within limited timeframes.
Decisive strategic judgments that align with organisational purpose, enabling values, and strategic objectives.
