About the Role: We are seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to play a vital part of CAHS' mission to create a healthier future for the children and young peoples in our care through ensuring that our organisational approach to learning, development, and capability is responsive to the needs of both our consumers and staff and aligned with the requirements of a future-fit workforce.
You will lead the CAHS Learning and Development team in the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of targeted, practical and innovative learning, development and capability build programs and initiatives, in response to the needs of individuals, teams and leaders across CAHS services, both the Perth Children's Hospital (Western Australian's only dedicated Paediatric Tertiary Environment) as well as our varied Community based services.
The successful applicant will:
Lead the Learning and Development team, championing a high-performance culture and positive employee engagement.Engage across CAHS providing stakeholders with guidance and support to develop practical learning solutions.Take a lead role in delivering the Learning Operating Model Review, driving enhanced effectiveness and experience of learning across the CAHS workforce.Develop and deliver key high profile learning projects including CAHS Learning Academy, Safety Skills Mandatory Training Program and corporate training offering.Work collaboratively in the Organisational Development lead team, playing a critical role in the achievement and the People Strategy deliverables.Foster and role model an environment of continuous improvement, learning focus and outcomes delivery.About the Organisational Development team: At the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) we know our culture and our people are key to providing exceptional services to the young patients and their families whilst in our care. We identify emerging trends in how human behaviour and employees contribute to organisational performance and effectiveness and healthcare delivery. We also focus on benchmarking and collaborating with leaders and clinical teams to design and deliver solutions and initiatives, adapted to the needs of our workforce, that build and enhance capability and culture in support of delivering the best outcomes possible to our patients and consumers.

About CAHS: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS comprises four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH).
