Primary Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Commercial Businesses, the Manager of Investment Attraction and Growth will lead the development of the local and regional economy by identifying opportunities for inbound investment and delivering Council's investment attraction and advocacy agenda.

The Opportunity Lead the Economic Development and Advocacy team. Drive strategic and operational advocacy. Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders. Manage and deliver key projects and funding opportunities. Leverage key stakeholders to attract investment. Monitor and respond to political and social developments. Provide high-quality advice and real-time reporting. Foster a positive and proactive customer service culture. About You We are seeking a candidate with the following background and experience:
High-level advocacy and external affairs expertise. Experience working with senior government and industry stakeholders. Skills in developing strategic alliances and networks. Strong business and commercial acumen. Understanding of local government systems and regional issues. Attention to detail and ability to deliver timely advice. Self-motivated and a team player with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
