Play a vital role in leading the group Health and Safety Systems and Analytics team. Creating innovative and user-focused systems, processes, and reporting for Fortescue's global metals and energy businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide coaching and guidance to your diverse Health & Safety Systems and Analytics team. Your team delivers the Fortescue group Health and Safety systems, data science, reporting, assurance program, and technical guidance for hygiene and emergency management suite.
Provide the Fortescue Health and Safety business reporting suite.
Play a lead role in the HSEC Digital Transformation project. Working with the Transformation team as the key project sponsor, you will work collaboratively to address concerns, identify opportunities, and provide regular business updates on project status.
Proactively collaborate across the business to embed new ways of working.
Enable creative thinking and drive operational Health and Safety efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience
Significant, demonstrable experience in Health and Safety within a leadership role.
Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, or related field.
Lead Auditor Qualified.
Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining global Health and Safety management system/s.
Understanding of Risk Management, Health and Emergency Management programs.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, relevant standards, and codes of practice.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and evidence of the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks under tight time constraints.
Utilise Scrum/Agile ways of working.
