About the Opportunity You will be in a strategic position within the Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) and Specialist Services Directorate, Community Health. It holds the responsibility for delivering District-wide capability and capacity to effectively identify and respond to Domestic and Family Violence in all services and facilities. The role manages a multidisciplinary team and reports to the Director VAN and Specialist Services, Community Health.
You will have multiple responsibilities across a range of domains including: safety and quality; strategic planning; training and capacity building; policy development and implementation; reporting and service evaluation; the provision of expert and timely advice; and developing effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in management, health administration, research, education or related discipline.High-level knowledge and experience in the area of domestic and family violence, and the associated areas of child abuse and neglect and sexual assault, in a Health agency or other relevant setting.Benefits and Perks!
