headspace Batemans Bay provides young people with access to Allied Health Professionals and community supports that they need to develop and maintain the skills and confidence to live healthy and happy lives. The centre also engages in community awareness and seeks to develop and implement innovative programs to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people in the region. Relationships Australia Canberra & Region is the lead agency for headspace Batemans Bay and is supported by a Consortium.

Your new role 1 x Permanent, Full time Located at headspace Batemans BayRelocation assistance negotiable for the successful applicantAnnual Salary between $115,065.07 to $121,330.19, plus Superannuation, NFP Salary Packaging, Paid Christmas closure and other generous leave provisions under our Enterprise Agreement.Duties: The headspace Batemans Bay centre manager oversees headspace service delivery for young people aged 12-25 in Batemans Bay and at outreach locations, consistent with headspace national guidelines.
Leads a multidisciplinary team of GPs, mental health clinicians, allied health workers, administrative support staff and consortium partners, providing services for young people aged 12-25 years ensuring efficient, effective, safe and high-quality client management and clinical service delivery consistent with best practice.Ensures all aspects of the headspace centre service model are implemented and maintained, which includes the core components of primary health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and social inclusion/education/training, focusing on the Family and Friends aspect of the model and the key enabling components.Oversees compliance with any statutory and Medicare requirements.Actively progresses the growth and development of services in line with strategic and business plans, and client demand.What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience in managing the operational delivery of community service programs.A proven track record in successfully leading and supervising multi-disciplinary teams, and ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures while managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.Demonstrated ability to think, plan and manage strategically.Demonstrated experience in building strong stakeholder relationships and partnerships across the community.For a full list of duties and selection criteria, please refer to the position description found via this link.
