The Manager, Governance is a leadership, supervisory and operational role, and works closely with the Branch Head and Chief Corporate Officer to support the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP) to fulfil its purpose through fit for purpose and effective governance, performance and planning frameworks.

The Manager provides high level strategic and operational advice and support to senior management of the CDPP in relation to all aspects of public sector governance in accordance with the relevant legislation, frameworks, policy and procedures.
They will make and communicate balanced decisions using professional judgement, evaluating ambiguous and incomplete information, factoring in risks and being sensitive to the environment.
They will require excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to manage high level negotiations with internal and external stakeholders and develop complex written reports and communications.
