Manager - Finance & Corporate Advisory | Education ConsultingWells Advisory has merged with MinterEllison Consulting.
Our team is comprised of management consultants with backgrounds, skills and knowledge to support a range of diverse clients and service streams within the education sector.
Our Education Practice provides consulting advice to senior executive leaders, encompassing regulation, governance, audit and review, strategy, business case development, growth and market expansion, transaction support and financial analysis.
Our clients include government, regulatory agencies, leading universities, independent research institutes, private education businesses, technology companies and investors.
The Role We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager to join our tight-knit education consulting team whose primary objective will be to support the finance & corporate advisory service stream with the opportunity to work across our 3 other service offerings.
This is a full-time permanent position available in our Melbourne practice with hybrid working arrangements available.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Contribute to client engagements and form a core part of our consulting team.Support projects, develop knowledge and skills in education consulting and be a part of the continuous growth of the team and the firm.Take ownership of the various Education market databases.Manage multiple parallel client engagements, with projects usually involving client and stakeholder engagement and consultation, solution and design workshops, research and analysis (qualitative and quantitative, as required), and developing high-impact reports/deliverables.More About You Bachelor degree or higher in a Commerce or Accounting field.Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant, or studying towards.5+ years' experience as a management accountant, business analyst, management consultant or auditor.Ability to build rapport quickly and create valuable relationships with clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.Background in the following will be highly regarded:financial / data analysis / financial modellingfinancial statementbudgeting and forecastingdeep integration of datamarket researchreport writingmergers and acquisitionsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with analytics platforms/tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI will be considered as highly desirable.Why MinterEllison We offer flexible working options to encourage balance, wellbeing and support for sustainable ways of working and a range of social, financial and health benefits, including free gym membership - all with no minimum tenure.
