Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people Roster: Monday to Friday (with regular site travel) We are seeking an experienced, motivated Finance leader as Manager Finance Business Partner for Iron Bridge , to lead the Finance Business Partnering team supporting our Iron Bridge operations.
Reporting directly to the Director Operations for Iron Bridge, this role holds significant influence and strategic importance, driving financial performance and value realisation as part of the Iron Bridge leadership team.
This dynamic role partners with all aspects of the Iron Bridge Operations, as well as working closely with the Finance and Joint-Venture teams.
The role leads the financial business partnering function for Iron Bridge including expenditure and capital budgeting and forecasting, assessing and optimising value cases, advising on commercial decisions, providing analytical support, ensuring consistent reporting and frameworks, and supporting business improvement opportunities across Iron Bridge.
This role requires strong financial and commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, strong communication and partnership capabilities, and an ability to collaborate across operations and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Develop and embed financial performance management.
Improve annual and quarterly expenditure budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Maximise value through effective capital deployment Manage the accurate and timely completion of month end close activities.
Provide commercial and analytical support to the Director, leadership team and operational teams.
Coaching and training team members Work closely with other Finance Business Partnering Managers and the broader Finance teams to meet corporate objectives.
Ensure compliance with Joint Venture obligations, including Work Program & Budget.
Agile and solution focused to identify opportunities and maintain efficiencies to implement continuous business improvement Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in business or commerce CA or CPA would be highly regarded 7+ years experience in Finance, Mining, Projects or other Commercial roles Strong communication and team management skills Strong understanding of financial performance management Ability to identify opportunities and support valuation thereof and supporting operational decision making.
Ability to develop and maintain insightful expenditure performance reporting.
