As the Manager of the Faculty Learning Engagement Team (FLET), you'll lead a dedicated team of learning designers and media developers.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with the Dean of Learning and Teaching to advance digital education, develop academic staff capabilities, and shape engaging, innovative digital course content. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Collaboration: Guide the FLET team in implementing best practices in learning design, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Project Oversight: Oversee projects that align with the Faculty's digital transformation goals, ensuring high-quality, accessible digital learning resources. Staff Development: Lead staff mentoring and provide resources to support professional growth and skills development. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with academic and professional teams to create learning design processes that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Ensure all digital course content aligns with university quality standards. About You: We're seeking a proactive leader with: Relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in learning design for online and blended environments. Proven expertise in educational frameworks and quality assurance in digital course development. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and building staff capabilities. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and deliver on time. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
