Manager Environmental Health & Community Safety Three-year contract, full-time opportunity Salary to be negotiated (dependent on skills and experience) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manager Environmental Health and Community Safety to successfully lead the City of Mitcham's environmental health and community safety programs.

With a key focus on strategic leadership, you will drive change and build a positive and productive work environment.
Additionally, you will be responsible for providing direction and ensuring alignment with organisational goals, objectives and Council plans while building strong relationships with key stakeholders including colleagues, the Leadership Group and Council Members.
About You To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in administering health, public safety, food, and compliance and other related legislation (e.g.
animal management, parking and bushfire management);Experience in successfully leading teams;The ability to build trust within teams, across the organisation and with customers;High level analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, with an ability to explore new and innovative ways to do business; andA tertiary qualification in Environmental Health, Business Management or a relevant field is highly desirable.The Reward This is your opportunity to be part of a business with a passionate focus on customers and quality services.
