We need an experienced leader who can guide our amazing team and work with our stakeholders to achieve great things. To be successful in this role you will need: Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in town planning, sustainability/environment management, or related field.Experience: Substantial planning/sustainability management experience in local government or a similar field.
Key selection criteria: Substantial demonstrated experience in local government, planning, sustainability or similar field with an emphasis on strategic planning.Knowledge and understanding of team management concepts and major issues emerging within local government.Working knowledge of local government functions and statutory obligations.Proficient in developing budgets, financial management, and corporate planning.Applications that fail to address the above key selection criteria will not be considered for this position.
