In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a Manager, Digital Portfolio, Student and Stakeholder Engagement to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.The Manager, Digital Portfolio, Student and Stakeholder Engagement is a pivotal leadership role responsible for aligning digital initiatives with the university's strategic goals.
This position is essential for building and maintaining effective partnerships across the university and with external service providers.
This role leads a multidisciplinary team covering business analysis, demand management, release, and user experience (UX), and collaborates closely with the Domain Architect to ensure digital solutions are strategically identified, optimised, and retired.We're offering this role as a hybrid position as part of QUT's commitment to embracing the opportunities created by a more virtual and connected world.About usQUT is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a 'real world' focus.

DBS embraces digital transformation as being fundamental to the delivery on the QUT Digital Strategy to enabling QUT's aspirations outlined in the QUT Connections Strategy..What you need to succeedEducation, training and/or relevant IT experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate qualification in conjunction with significant experience in the development and management of IT services relating to higher education technologies.Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Experience fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance, aligned with the organisation's digital transformation objectives.Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and high-level advice, with a proven track record of aligning digital capabilities with organisational goals.Demonstrated experience in leading collaborative engagements with diverse stakeholders, including project management offices, enterprise architecture, and business areas, to ensure alignment of digital solutions with strategic objectives.Proven experience in developing and maintaining portfolio roadmaps in collaboration with business areas, Portfolio Architects, and technical leads, ensuring alignment with the future needs and strategic goals of the organisation.Proven leadership in overseeing user experience (UX) practices across an organisation, ensuring consistent application of UX principles and a continuous improvement mindset.
