Full time The Development and Improvement Department supports East Grampians Health Service by delivering, implementing and monitoring systems and processes that provide the framework for good clinical governance reflecting government and community expectations.
Ongoing professional development and career opportunitiesAbout the Role This position provides high-level support to the Director, Development and Improvement as well as other staff in the Directorate and wider organisation. Core duties fall within the following areas: clinical governance, partnering with consumers, committee representation, oversight for document management, quality improvement and leave cover for the Director, Development and Improvement. Support for other Directorate portfolios will be required.
About You A qualification in a clinical or health-related discipline with post-graduate qualifications in management or leadership (or progress towards).Demonstrated leadership capacity and management experience.Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by examples of a positive and proactive approach to problem solving.Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication, co-ordination and organisational skills.Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks).
