About the role Hybrid and remote working arrangements availableFull time (part time options considered)Ongoing role$125,256 - $133,798 + 11.5% super + 17.5% annual leave loadingWorking within the Innovation Directorate, the Manager, Design Impact and Evaluation role is responsible for leading our approach to impact and evaluation across the Directorate and supporting ethics, data collection, reporting and evaluation activities for DSS funding. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in building, leading and managing teams while delivering on complex projects. This role will ensure we are building the evidence around Primary Prevention to accelerate Our Watch towards our long-term vision of stopping violence before it starts.
About you You will be a positive, proactive, experienced leader that is ready to jump into a new challenge as Our Watch moves through its next phase of evaluation. This role requires balancing a 'birds-eye-view' on moving pieces of work and ensuring strategic alignment with the organisation's strategic plan and priorities, while also diving deep into the detail and providing functional expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver on multiple, complex evaluations, research and development projectsSupport the implementation of organisational reporting for government grantsOversee the delivery of evaluations and monitoring for projects and campaignsProvide support and capacity building role to support staff in other Directorates, specifically around evaluation design, development and delivery.Implement, develop and improve systems and processes that support sharing insights and learnings, and support the transfer of successful innovative projects to other Our Watch directorates.Lead the ongoing development of systems and processes to ensure Our Watch evaluations address and further strengthen primary prevention frameworks and evidenceWhy work for us Our Watch is strongly committed to the wellbeing of its employees, and we strive to continuously improve our employee experiences at work.
