The Essential Services Commission is looking for a professional leader to join our Digital Transformation Group in the position of Manager, Data Management and Reporting. About the role
Reporting to the Director, Data Analytics and Reporting, the Manager, Data Management and Reporting is responsible for managing and leading a team to provide analysis that informs the Commission's regulatory decision-making and advice.
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in project management and delivering high-quality research and advice. You will have a sound understanding of data governance, data structures, and data warehouse principles, and undertaking financial/economic/operational analysis and developing modelling tools for decision-making. You must have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field for this position.
Experience within the utilities industry, conducting economic analysis and advice, knowledge of regulatory economics and an understanding of the regulatory regimes administered by the Commission are all highly desirable.

The Commission adds long-term value to the South Australian community by meeting its objective through independent, ethical and expert regulatory decisions and advice. We are a statutory authority established as an independent economic regulator and advisory body to protect the long-term interests of South Australian consumers with respect to the price, quality and reliability of essential services.
Our role incorporates licensing, consumer protection, service standards, pricing, monitoring, compliance and public reporting in the water, electricity and gas industries, and access regulation of essential ports and rail infrastructure.
