About us:
Community Correctional Services (CCS) is a state-wide service that manages individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.

Evidence suggests that people who re-integrate into the community following a period of imprisonment require transitional support in order to reduce their risk of reoffending.

The MCP will oversee operations at both locations, provide direct line management of the court order management and court services teams and play a key role in developing community partnerships with the courts and local police. The successful candidate will be required to travel and work across both offices as required. Managers will be required to participate in the "on call" after hours Duty Director system as rostered.

To be successful in this role you will have:

extensive case management experience with complex and high risk clients as well as expertise in best practice risk minimisation and therapeutic initiatives

experience in managing teams and resources ensuring smooth delivery of services

teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse group of staff with varied experience

a strong operational lens with the ability to monitor financial performance, resource and staffing requirements.

A relevant qualification in social work, human services or criminal justice discipline, with work experience in a similar field is also desirable.
