Your new role: As our business in NSW continues to thrive, we're seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Corporate Secretarial Services to join our Corporate Services team.
As the Manager of Corporate Secretarial Services for our NSW practice, you will be a key member of our management team, reporting directly to the head of our Business Advisory Services division and working closely with the broader Business Advisory Services Partner and Manager group.
You will be supported by an existing team, currently comprising a Corporate Secretarial Services Administrator and a Corporate Services Assistant.
You will be responsible for: Managing the Corporate Secretarial Services team that provides corporate services to our 3,000+ corporate clients including: Company incorporations and deregistrations Establishing discretionary and unit trusts Acting as Registered Office for companies Acting as Registered Agent with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) Attending to compliance obligations including Annual Company Statements Preparation and maintenance of corporate registers Performing company and personal searches Preparation of required documentation for company, officeholder and shareholder changes, including lodgement with ASIC Business names administration including registrations, cancellations, renewals and change of address Liaising with the broader Business Advisory division to help service their client needs Developing and executing a strategy for the overall management and streamlining of corporate services Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes including through better use of technology Identifying product offerings to our clients and Educating and training of professional staff and Partners We have big goals, and we're on the lookout for an individual who brings fresh, innovative ideas to help us achieve them.
About you: The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience in Corporate Governance together with: Senior Company Secretary with 10 years + experience Governance Institute of Australia qualification as a Company Secretary and/or Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Law or equivalent experience Detailed understanding of the Corporations Act, corporate governance principles and their practical application (legal qualifications will be highly regarded) Experience within a Professional Services firm Self-motivated, very well organised, and strong on attention to detail Proactive, questioning disposition and can initiate new ideas to add positive value to the team and firm Great team player Collaborative and knowledgeable manager who is keen to share their knowledge with our Company Secretary Sufficient maturity to deal with senior business stakeholders Excellent communication skills Australian citizen or permanent resident   Benefits awaiting you upon your arrival: Salary Continuance Insurance for all employees Genuine career development opportunities Hybrid Working Arrangements Access to an In-house psychologist - for personal, professional or career coaching discussions Bi-Monthly Colleague Lunch Dress for your day Social Club events Cutting-edge childcare support for eligible employees Run Club and more!
