About the role We have a permanent senior leadership opportunity for a Manager Construction Assurance to join our Project Management team.
You will lead a team providing quality assurance and control in the construction of a large concurrent program of civil, mechanical, and electrical major works projects across the State.
The role is based in our Leederville office and will report to the Head of Project Management.
What the role will involve As a member of the project management leadership team, you will contribute to the business operations and be responsible for delivering the business outcomes to customers and stakeholders throughout Western Australia.
In this role you will be accountable for ensuring quality assurance strategies and processes for the construction of major capital infrastructure works, whilst meeting the business targets and business objectives.
You will lead the civil, mechanical, electrical and quality assurance professionals in the completion of inspections, audits and assessments to ensure fit for purpose assets.
Key skills and experience You'll be experienced in delivering construction assurance activities for major capital infrastructure projects, whilst having a strong technical and risk management focus, in addition to being committed to achieving zero harm.
In addition to leading the civil, mechanical, electrical, and quality assurance teams, you will be an effective communicator who can demonstrate strong strategic, commercial and leadership skills.
A detailed knowledge of quality assurance standards and processes for the construction of water related infrastructure assets is essential.
You will have a degree or tertiary level qualification in construction management, engineering or relevant discipline.
