About the role Are you passionate about enabling compliance while shaping a sustainable energy future for all Australians? Join Origin's Energy Supply & Operations team as the Manager - Compliance Advisor and be at the forefront of delivering reliable, affordable and cleaner energy across Australia.
You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality compliance advice, interpreting complex obligations and their application to Origin, engaging with regulators, and assisting in resolving compliance issues and incidents. Your work will involve:
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance.Driving effective engagement strategies with external stakeholders, including regulators.Effectively communicating complex risk and compliance content simply and concisely, providing pragmatic compliance advice to the business.Leading or supporting compliance incident investigations and reviews.Acting as the primary interface for regulatory audits and coordinating third-line compliance assurance activities.Delivering efficient and effective compliance reporting and governance.What will you bring? We are looking for someone who is proactive, resilient, and adaptable, with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. You should have a strong ability to navigate through complex regulatory requirements providing clear, practical advice. Your background should include:
Demonstrated years of compliance experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably in energy, mining, oil and gas, or transport and logistics.Proven ability to provide timely, accurate and practical compliance guidance appropriate to business needs and operating environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for simplifying complex content.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.So why join us?
