About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive GM Primary Care & Clinical Safety/Quality, the Manager for Clinical Safety and Quality Systems (Manager CSQS) provides expert advice in all areas of clinical safety and quality to the Executive Leadership team and clinical leads. The role oversees the integration of clinical safety and quality systems across RFDS SA/NT to ensure delivery of improved patient outcomes and a safe environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Clinical Safety Quality team. Support the sustainability of clinical governance processes and systems in collaboration with Clinical Managers. Lead the implementation of the biannual health services safety and quality plan. Provide timely advice on areas of immediate risk to the Chief Executive and Executive General Manager Primary Health and Clinical Safety & Quality. Chair the Operational Clinical Governance Committee. About You
You will have extensive knowledge of safe system design, safety evaluation, and accreditation programs. Your demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to negotiate and influence relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
A master's degree in a healthcare-related field. AHPRA registration as a health professional or eligible to hold a current practising certificate. Project management and data analysis skills. Experience in leading accreditation to the NSQHS Standards is highly desirable. Additional Information:
