Manager Finance Business Partner Services Location – Parramatta, City, Hybrid Working (mixture of in the office and from home) Ongoing Full time Clerk Grade 11/12 roles Salary – $139,787 - $161,663 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role Assist the Director Finance Business Partner in delivering the strategic finance oversight for the assigned Divisions of DCJ. The role will provide an interface between the business operations and the central Finance team and other interested parties, including Treasury and will provide relevant financial advice that enables senior staff to make decisions regarding operations.
The roles will provide Finance Business Partnering Services to the Child Protection and Permanency division within the Communities and Families portfolio
As part of the Finance Business Partner Services team within Finance and Procurement Services, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of the team to provide strategic and operational finance advice, insightful reporting, budgeting, forecasting, governance and quality financial advice.

Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce or other relevant field and membership of CPA Australian or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
What we're looking for In addition to the above essential requirements, the keys to success in this role are developing strong and trusting relationships with the business including an ability to influence decisions, an excellent people manager and leader, and a continuous improvement mindset – never being happy with the status quo. Qualified financial professional (CA or CPA) with a breadth of experience across different businesses – private or government.
The ideal candidate will also bring the following skills:
You have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of current accounting, reporting, and forecasting requirements to deliver high level strategic, tactical, and operational financial advice to executives. You have proven experience engaging with senior executives /managers to appreciate business needs and identify opportunities to streamline and enhance recording, analysis and reporting processes. Ability to provide strategic advise and insights to various stakeholders within the business under tight time pressures and negotiate favourable outcomes on their behalf Can collaborate with various professionals within the finance team to provide strategic analysis and opinions within a dynamic team environment You have a proven track record of stakeholder engagement with well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
