How will I help?
You will be part of the Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM) team responsible for driving a strong risk culture within the Cash & Transactional Banking (CTB) line of business.
As a manager in the Governance and Reporting team, you will provide the business and the CTB Leadership Team with risk support for all elements of the operational risk management framework, including risk reporting, monitoring compliance with risk frameworks and analysis of risk data to provide insights to the business. You will engage with multiple stakeholders across the 3 Lines of Defence.
Some of your responsibilities for this role are outlined below:
Ensure the business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group, including issue and incident management. Contribute to the coordination of risk committees and submission of risk papers. Critical analysis of source data, deriving actionable insights by working closely with the business and leveraging technical solutions. Drive a strong risk culture and awareness in day-to-day business decisions and business strategic initiatives. Lead business engagement on important risk activities such as root cause analysis and identification of emerging risks. Leading and supporting activities to reduce residual risk including the management of data risk and privacy risk. Performing reviews or attestations to monitor risks including conflict of interest and conduct risk. What's in it for me?

What do I need? Demonstrated experience in a large and complex organisation, primarily in the financial services industryA can-do attitude with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of proactively identifying and fixing problems.Knowledge and experience in risk and regulatory landscape, business knowledge and operational risk and compliance frameworksAbility to build valuable relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and peers Experience in reporting, governance or business management Strong written and verbal communication skills What's it like to work there?
