Government - Local (Government & Defence)Full timeSalary: $137,743 – $147,017 per year plus SuperannuationLocation: District Council of Yankalilla, one hour's drive south of Adelaide's CBD.The Manager Assets & Infrastructure leads the strategic asset management activities for Council which includes:Implementing and reviewing asset management plans, systems, processes, programsProviding guidance and professional advice for asset life cycle management in line with Council's strategic plans and budgetsImparting specialist advice to staff and key stakeholdersEnsuring Council meets all obligations regarding Infrastructure Asset Management.Key areas of responsibility across the portfolio include:Strategic Asset ManagementContract ManagementOperational ManagementLearning and DevelopmentChampioning the Organisational Safety.Qualifications: Civil Engineering qualification and/or significant demonstrable experience in a similar role leading Assets and Infrastructure teams in a complex fast-paced environment will be essential. Local Government sector knowledge will be highly regarded.A sound knowledge of Asset Management Strategy and effective engagement with Elected Members and other key stakeholders as a subject matter expert will be key to success in this role.
