Eastern Health Authority (EHA) is a local government organisation that provides environmental health services to its Constituent Councils – the City of Burnside, Campbelltown City Council, the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters, the Town of Walkerville and the City of Prospect. The Manager, Administration & Compliance reports directly to the CEO and is an important member of our collaborative senior management team. We operate out of modern offices in central St Peters where we are focussed on building a positive culture and continuous improvement across the organisation. The Role This exciting role offers you the opportunity to use your significant skills and experience to mentor a small, committed team of administration professionals and take a hands-on approach in leading the following functions
AdministrationBoard and Committee GovernanceRisk ManagementRecords ManagementPolicies and ProceduresWork Health & SafetyCoordination of Finance and Human Resource Mgt in conjunction with the CEO and external providers. Qualifications and Skills: Tertiary qualification in Management, Business Administration or other relevant field or demonstrated experience in a similar role.Demonstrated experience of high level of decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Local or State Government entities is an advantage.High levels of attention to detail and an ability to interpret and apply corporate governance legislation.Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Intermediate to advanced skills in use of PDF Program Required Licenses / Screenings Possess and provide a DCSI – (child Related) prior to offer of employment.Current Class 1 South Australian Driver's Licence.
