Through conferences, publications, and initiatives, the College also fosters evidence-based practices, ensures high-quality, culturally sensitive care, and is committed to elevating healthcare outcomes for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Maori communities guided by its commitments to reconciliation and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.About the RoleIn this role, you will lead and oversee the College accreditation functions and strategies to ensure education and training programs meet the RANZCP accreditation standards and the requirements of the National Health Practitioner Ombudsman, the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and the Australian Medical Council (AMC). The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of effective stakeholder relationships and initiating strategies and initiatives that address accreditation requirements at the service, program and jurisdictional levels.What you will bringA strategic and systems-based approach to your work, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and effectively managing complex processes within educational settings.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a management position in an educational environment, with proven experience in accreditation, standards and audits, project management, quality improvements in service delivery, program evaluation and review, with proven ability to deliver on objectives and implement strategies and actions to arrive at the desired outcomes.Qualifications in training and/or education and/or equivalent experience in medical/health professions education environment required.Experience in medical education and workforce policy development and sound understanding of medical education, governance, regulatory agencies and compliance for specialist medical colleges and education providers.Demonstrated experience in program management and building stakeholder relationships.Experience within a membership organisation or the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.Some of what's on offerSalary offer is $101,300 to $126,600 inclusive of Super and Leave Loading.A great hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office as a minimum.A monthly RDO for full-time staff.Gender neutral 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers.About the application processIf this role piques your interest, but your experience isn't an exact match—apply anyway!
