Due to internal movement we're seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team in the Young.
Within this roe you will be responsible for the maintenance team (approx.
15 trades and apprentices) to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the plant, equipment and facilities on-site, and to facilitate the implementation of the maintenance plan and preventative maintenance activities.
This department is also responsible for continuous improvement tasks and projects in relation to maximising uptime through maintenance and new technology/upgrades.
About the role: Management of Maintenance Team, rosters, time sheets, safety, disciplinary action/conflict resolution, building team morale and upskilling.
Implementation and following company procedures/policies Management of contractors and their work Training and upskilling of all Maintenance personnel Maintain safe working environment for the entire site Maintaining environmental licence requirements in conjunction with the Environmental Department and Group Manager – Maintenance and Projects.
Development and implementation of short term and long term maintenance planning and activities Responding to and rectifying maintenance concerns and requests in a timely manner Manage/assist with projects for the site where required (continuous improvement/new technology) What we're looking for: Previous supervisory/management experience Trade background Previous experience in staff rostering Experience with conflict resolution Strong people management ability Strong planning and business organisation ability Analytical and problem-solving ability Passion for quality and continuous improvement Ability to think strategically Ability to communicate confidently at all levels Willingness to take a hands-on approach Guiding and improving team culture and attitude What's in it for you?
