Your new role As the group's Management Accountant, your role will encompass a broad but very specific range of accounting responsibilities supporting key divisions of the business. This includes forecasting & budgeting, treasury oversight, audit, tax, month end and process improvement.
Day-to-day accounting for one key division's operationsManage and prepare timely month end and YTD financials including performing monthly reporting against forecastsManage cash flow management, forecasting and treasury reportingPreparation of budgets/forecasts and variance analysisOversee submission of BAS, FBT, Payroll TaxSupervision of Assistant Accountant and offshore resource(s)Provide accounting oversight and support to Group operationsIdentifying and implementing process efficiencies/improvements and automation opportunitiesEnhance stakeholder financial and accounting knowledge as a business partnerAssist with developing and implementing internal control policies and proceduresAssist with the half year and end of year audit/tax reporting as well as liaising with external auditors and other Group reporting requirementsAssist Corporate Office with ad hoc projectsThis will be an opportunity to apply your broad accounting knowledge and skills acquired through study and work to make an impact and contribute to a great team.
You You are a qualified accountant with aspirations to build your career in commerce. You bring the following skills:
Management accounting experienceExposure to treasury and cash managementAlways looking for opportunities to improve processes and outputsFirm grasp of financial principlesTeam player - partner with the businessStrong inter-personal skills, excellent communication and presentational skills.Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.Strong systems knowledge and advanced Excel and reporting skills are necessary, knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Power BI will be beneficial.Your Opportunity This company is growing, has great people, and this role represents a massive career opportunity.
