We seek a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our finance team.
This role is critical to ensuring the effective financial management of the organisation, providing key insights that guide decision-making and future strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Performance-Based Financial Reporting: Analyze and report financial performance to support strategic organisational decision-making.
Asset Valuation: Provide insights on asset value to enhance financial planning and reporting accuracy.
Budgetary Systems, Cost Management, Pricing, and Forecasting: Design, monitor, and evaluate budget systems.
Provide forecasts to guide the organisation's financial direction and contribute to effective pricing strategies.
Strategic Governance: Collaborate with leadership to align financial resources with organisational goals, contributing to overall governance.
Financial Planning & Risk Management: Advice on financial planning, assessment of risks, and delivery of management reports that drive informed decision-making.
Bench marking & Quality Improvement: Analyze cost performance, implement bench marking practices, and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification (or working towards certification).
Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Expertise in risk management, cost control, and performance analysis.
Familiarity with carbon pricing and sustainability initiatives (advantageous).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
