The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Melbourne CBD once a week.
As a Management Accountant, you will support their Finance Lead with financial and reporting responsibilities.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Duties: Perform accounting tasks in an accurate and timely mannerWork closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that the profit and loss and balance sheet are presented to the BoardAssist with the submission of various compliance as required.End of Month tasks: preparation of end of month journals, accruals and prepaymentsAssist with the preparation of Business Unit P&L and Balance SheetsMonthly Management ReportingAttend to billing queries from project teams, provide credits and follow up on missing billingsAssisting head office Finance team with finance queries and requestsSkills and Experience Tertiary degree in accounting, business or similarCPA/CA qualified or working towardsExperience in a similar rolePrevious experience working in an accounting firm is highly regardedExperience working with operations teams and non-financial stakeholdersKnowledge of the construction industry will prove beneficialAdvanced skills in Excel and proficiency across ITAttentive to detail, can manage time well, and possess great organisational skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
