The main objective of this role is to provide financial services advice across the City of Darwin's diverse and multi-faceted business units through the analysis of information to produce insight and advice and the mitigation of Financial Risk. The Management Accountant is responsible for developing the City of Darwin's (CoD) financial planning and budgetary processes and reporting framework.
The successful must assist in the preparation of the draft annual budget including analysist and recommendations for budget proposals and modelling. Assist with preparing the Annual Financial Statements, including grant income/liabilities and providing budget information to the Manager Accounting Services.
