Our client is a multi-award-winning NT Construction company based in Darwin who have completed major defence, industrial, community, commercial and remote construction projects across the NT.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our client in their Berrimah office. As part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations by applying your accounts payable knowledge and experience to enhance the company's goals and motivations. This role is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity for permanency for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities: As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the businesses creditor accounts. Administering the accounts payable process with precision and efficiency.Conducting reconciliation of creditors and GL accounts to ensure accuracy.Proficiently utilising accounting software to streamline financial operations.Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.Employing problem-solving skills and initiative to resolve challenges.Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholdersProcessing 150-200 invoices per week What you need to succeed: Relevant qualifications and proven experience in high volume accounts payable environments.Familiarity with accounting software and the ability to quickly learn new systems.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and suppliers effectively.
