The role

Crown Sydney have a full-time, permanent opportunity available for a Management Accountant to support a number of F&B departments at our Barangaroo property. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, you'll support the F&B operational management by providing daily, weekly and monthly reports, as well as advising and implementing appropriate accounting controls to minimise financial risk. This role will also play a part in business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, whilst also maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.

This role will be based in Melbourne. Some of your responsibilities will involve: Liaising with operational management on business performance, reporting and information needs, forecasting andProviding general financial assistance and adviceAssisting in the month end reporting process for all departments within the non-gaming businesses including estimates and actualsCoordinating adjustments and operational feedback and queriesProviding input into the budgeting and forecasting processConducting analysis on expenditure including variance analysis, productivity ratios & margin analysisAssisting with the preparation of internal management reports required on a monthly basisProviding commercial and finance support & assistance to the senior Hotel and F&B operational managementSupporting with statutory audit requirements ensuring relevant reports and reconciliations are prepared on timeAssisting in the preparation of external reports as directed You'll have: 3+ years demonstrated technical experience (industry and professional experience in Hotels & F&B is advantageous)Experience in both management and financial accountingProject management and business planning skills and experienceStrong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and their applicationAdvanced excel experienceTertiary Qualifications in Finance or AccountingRecognition as a member of CA or CPA (or is working towards this)Has or is able to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses What we offer you: Full-time, permanent opportunity, based in Crown's corporate officesSalary package + opportunity to participate in Crown's STIPComplimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurantGenerous discounts across Crown hotels and restaurants Australia wideOpportunity to be part of Crown Sydney's Finance teamAccess to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, heath & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and more Job Description Qualifications Additional Information What you can expect from us
