Your roleThe Business Restructuring and Insolvency division has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Insolvency Graduate/Intermediate to join their busy team in Melbourne.
The role includes assisting the Managers and Partners in the administration of Corporate insolvency-related matters and liaising with creditors and all stakeholders involved in Corporate Insolvency administrations. You will work as part of a dynamic team on a variety of Corporate Insolvency cases.
Responsibilities Prepare routine correspondence to a variety of stakeholdersDeal with stakeholder enquiries over the telephone and in writing, preparing written responses as requiredAssist colleagues as required regarding the administration of formal insolvency matters, including the preparation of statutory reports and compliance lodgementsBe aware of and comply with statutory deadlines in relation to your allocated tasksDevelop a basic understanding of the assignment's business and the commercial environment in which it operatesPrepare transaction vouchers and journal entries through specialist insolvency accounting softwareAssist with investigations into an insolvent entity's finances, including the analysis of financial statements, accounting and business recordsAssist with the development of solutions tailored to the insolvent entity with a view to achieving an optimal outcome for stakeholdersDemonstrate a high standard of professional courtesy and respect to all other members of staffDemonstrate a high standard of professional appearance and approach in dealing with clientsHall Chadwick recognises and rewards strong work ethic and dedication, with mentoring and support to bring out the best of their employees. About youIdeally, you should have completed university and want to commence your CA/CPA studies. Any prior experience in a chartered firm will also be beneficial, preferably in Corporate Insolvency.
