Managed Operating Environment (MOE) Engineer19th September, 2024Must have Negative Vetting Level 1 Security clearance.The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic including taking ownership and initiative, providing professional expertise, and a high level of productivity.The key responsibilities of the position include:Expertise in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Managed Operating Environments for Government or other large organizations in on premises, hybrid or cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements.Strong experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.Familiarity with implementing technologies that underpin MOE development such as:Standard Operating Environment image creationApplication Packaging of third-party applicationsApplication and Device ControlEndpoint Security and Device ComplianceAutomation and implementation via Infrastructure as Code solutions desirableProven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers and other subject-matter experts.Other tasking as required by the Program.Development of documentation such as Detailed Designs, High Level Designs, As-Built-As-Configured and Standard Operating Procedures.Well developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including non-technical managers.Participation in daily standups, team and project meetings and other associated rituals.Any relevant industry certifications and qualifications.Minimum Requirements:Demonstrated relevant skills and experience in expertise in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Managed Operating Environments for Government or other large organizations in on premises, hybrid or cloud only environments in line with ACSC Essential 8 requirements.Familiarity with implementing technologies that underpin MOE development such as Standard Operating Environment image creation, Application Packaging of third-party applications, Application and Device Control, Endpoint Security and Device Compliance, Device Enrollment.Strong experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.Development of documentation such as Detailed Designs, High Level Designs, As-Built-As-Configured and standard operating procedures.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including non-technical senior managers.Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers and other subject-matter experts.Automation and implementation via Infrastructure as Code solutions desirable.Any relevant industry certifications and qualifications.Kirra Services is a Supply Nation Certified ICT Service Provider, specializing in Hardware and Software procurement for Government, Corporate and Education.
