This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the delivery of Mammography services and provide training and support to the Toowoomba Radiography team under the guidance of our managing radiologists and in collaboration with the Toowoomba leadership team, ensuring top-quality service and care for women's health in the community. About the roleMammographer In Charge – Toowoomba RegionThe Mammographer in Charge will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mammography modality within the Toowoomba Region.This is a full-time position and will require flexibility to be rostered across a variety of shifts on a rotating roster. You will work alongside a dedicated, friendly, highly skilled team of radiologists, technical and administrative professionals who are committed to providing the best service to our patients and referrers. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of procedures including interventional procedures and biopsies. QXR works exclusively with 3D tomosynthesis.In this role, you will also provide valuable support and mammography training to staff in the Toowoomba Region while also assisting with staffing matters, including rostering, recruitment, and performance management. Travel to other practices for staff coverage or meetings will be part of the role and you will have the opportunity to foster strong team cohesion and promote positive team morale, ensuring open lines of communication with other leaders in the Toowoomba region.
