The CompanyJoin this established Construction business, specialising in Insurance Repair, Restoration and Strata work. My client boasts long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Assessors. Due to strong demand, my client requires a Supervisor (Major/Complex Loss) to join their highly successful team in Perth.An opportunity is now available to join the team in the role of Major/Complex Loss Supervisor. In this role you will attend sites and assess damage, estimate repair costs and provide supervision of trades and comprehensive scopes of works to allow for accurate repairs. You will be expected to:Write building insurance assessment reportsSupervise building reinstatement worksEngage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable eventsCommunicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobsLiaise between both insurance companies & insured partiesCoordinate access to properties with insured partiesDispute/issue resolution as requiredEnsure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirementsEnsure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed offThe CandidateAs the successful candidate you will demonstrate some or all of the following:Min 3 years' experience in a supervising roleExperience within insurance building is highly desirable but not essentialTrade certificates in building (carpentry preferred) or a related disciplineExcellent organisational & time management skillsStrong computer skillsExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsA proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with OHS practices, legislation & regulationsFamiliarity with current market rates & tradesThe ability to provide quality estimates without need for outside quotesCurrent and valid motor vehicle licenseThe RewardsA very competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
