The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work on Afternoon Shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday to Friday) based at the Glendenning Manufacturing Centre.
As an experienced Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the reliability and maintenance of the manufacturing centre. This is an opportunity for you to bring your knowledge and skillset into a role you can be passionate about and well supported by an experienced team.
Key responsibilities: Ensuring that the plant and all machinery/equipment is working to 100% to maximise efficiency which includes diagnosing and troubleshooting.Completing all required work orders with little or no impact to the production schedule.Responding to breakdowns through prioritising and carrying out repairs in a safe manner.Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance and Production teams.Completion of all documentation and record keeping requirements in a timely manner.About You Mechanical Trade Certificate/Licence.Demonstrated experience as a Fitter preferably in food manufacturing.Excellent fault finding and trouble shooting skills, with a solution based mindset.A continuous improvement approach to all tasks with a can-do attitude.Please note: As a pre-requisite for this role, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol screening.
