Maintenance Technician - S/W Sydney

My client is a highly regarded Australian owned snack food manufacturer, focusing their energy on fresh ideas that are relevant.
They seek to appoint a Maintenance Engineer based at their factory in Campsie, NSW.
About you: Relevant trade/engineering qualifications and experience Excellent hands-on experience with the maintenance of high-speed food manufacturing equipment Strong fabrication and TIG Welding skills Mechanical knowledge of processing equipment A minimum of 5 years of experience Forklift and Elevated Platform licenses Strong verbal and written English skills Skilled at preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance Reconnect/Disconnect license will be viewed favorably A team player What you will be doing: Maintenance of plant equipment Troubleshooting Communicating with management on operational best practice, and status of equipment Ensuring that OH&S is never compromised Develop and improve existing RCA & RCM programs Organise and work with external subcontractors Instill a 5S policy Record keeping Monday to Friday 7.30am-5.30pm (Overtime may be required if there is a major breakdown) Other tasks and duties as directed by the senior management team The Rewards: On offer is a terrific opportunity for a Maintenance Technician looking for a chance to further their career with a growing company in the food industry.
