Ensuring immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work are undertaken accordingly. Monitoring daily plant maintenance activities to ensure priorities are met. Ensures shift manning levels meet the plant requirements. Understands the root causes of downtime and implements solutions to eliminate. Assists the Plant Engineer as required and follows up on jobs carried over from previous shifts.Maintenance Supervisors: Supervises the quality and work performance of their crew. Controls expenses, ensures the team is following all company policies and procedures in strict compliance with OH&S legislation. Follows up works ensuring they're handed over efficiently between shifts.Fitters & Electricians -Lifestyle Roster: 4 ON (2 days, 2 nights), 5 OFF, 5 ON (2 days, 3 nights), 4 OFF Day shift start 4am & Night shift start 4pm4 Week shutdown at Christmas every year for maintenance so all trades are expected to be available! Overtime penalties paid outside standard roster pattern.As part of the maintenance team, these positions are responsible for maintaining the entire meat processing plant which is heavily automated.We are looking for self-motivated trade personnel with strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot faults, in order to rectify and provide preventative maintenance across the whole site.Responsibilities include ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by completing effective and efficient preventative maintenance as well as providing fast breakdown response.
