Maintenance Supervisor

Great long-term opportunity for Maintenance Supervisors to join a high performing professional team in Whyalla (not FIFO).Zoom is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team located at our Client site in Whyalla, South Australia.Our Client is the major source of both special bar quality and commercial-grade billet feed.The Role: Maintenance SupervisorPerform morning toolbox discussions.Supervise a team of multiple trades.Issue crew members with daily work.Reinforce safety expectations.Lead and reinforce the quality of mechanical repairs.Initiate, coach, and task the team on the completion of safety, environment, and plan adherence.Report and escalate events, hazards, and repeat breakdowns.Assist the planning team on the development of the weekly plan.Manage and control employees' annual leave, sick leave, and overtime.Act as the responsible site or location superintendent on weekends and shifts.Role Requirements:Experience in a supervisory/management role.Experience with CAT 988 Loaders, KOMATSU WA 600, Magnet Excavators including CAT and Liebherr, Kress pot carriers, and Slab Carriers is desirable.Solid understanding of mobile plant and maintenance.Experience with and confidence using Microsoft Office and maintenance-related systems.Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritization.Self-motivated.What's in it for you?Long-term career opportunities.Local job with no FIFO requirement.7-day rotating roster inclusive of night shifts.Competitive pay rates.What you need:Full Australian working rights.Valid Australian Driver's License.Ability to pass pre-employment medical.If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date resume in Microsoft Word format by hitting 'Apply Now'.APPLICANTS OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA NEED NOT APPLY
