Located just a short drive from the centre of Busselton, we are situated right on the beautiful Geographe Bay beach. Our property spans over 27 acres and our accommodation options include studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom villas.

The Position: We are looking to appoint a Full Time Maintenance Supervisor to support our Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department. As the Supervisor, you will be required to work closely with the team (approx. 7 staff members), keeping everyone motivated and on task. You will assist in developing preventative maintenance schedules, project planning, and managing the efficiency of the team. You will need to be organised and comfortable with using computers to complete paperwork and reports for all business needs. You will focus on introducing improvements and creating efficiency within the department and will be required to take on the role of the Maintenance Manager in their absence. A Mechanical/Trade background is preferred due to the variety of tasks to be completed on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities: Assist in developing preventative maintenance and energy conservation programs. Oversee the implementation of property/equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. Plan and assign daily work duties to maintenance staff. Inspect work assignments to ensure timely completion. Manage outside contractors. Ensure building structures and mechanical/electrical systems are in safe working condition. Inform the Maintenance Manager and General Manager of the overall condition of building structures and related systems, recommending cost-effective solutions for maintenance. Manage expenses within the Maintenance budget. Assist in employee training and performance evaluation. Ensure working areas are maintained (i.e., clean, safe, and organised). Educate the team on safety requirements and company policies and procedures. Manage stock control for the department. Requirements: A trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing) is highly desired. Prior experience in property maintenance. Excellent time management, communication, and people management skills. Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
