Our Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is based at our Lidcombe site.
This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a safe and tidy Maintenance store and acting as point of contact to receive goods for the site.
Main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Source and purchase spare parts with the emphasis on cost, timely delivery and quality.Generate Purchase orders for stock.Place orders with service providers as required.Maintain inventory/procurement control for allotted materials.Raise all claims for damages and faulty materials.Provide service to other departments, requiring stock information/valuation.Perform routine inventory checks and stock reconciliations.Manage and coordinate the purchasing of inventory and direct charge items in line with the Group Purchasing Policy, in full, on time and at the best possible price. To be successful in this position, you will have: Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office suite.Strong SAP knowledge.High attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Experience liaising with external and internal customers.
