Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)
Full time
Piacentini & Son require a planner with an understanding of the Mining or Heavy Engineering Sectors to develop maintenance plans for its sites based throughout Western Australia.
Reporting to the Asset Manager, this role will be responsible for developing and applying best practices in the planning and scheduling of maintenance processes to optimise efficiency within our workforce and improve machine reliability on site.
Key attributes to be successful in the role are: a sound understanding of applicable technology, ability to build strong relationships and operate in a close team environment, flexibility of approach, highly organized in nature and an ability to think outside the square and innovate to find solutions.
The role is based at our head office in Picton near Bunbury, Western Australia.
Key responsibilities of this position will include: Development of plan (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually) to ensure all maintenance and servicing activities are completed as requiredConduct and record weekly review of the previous week's plan, documenting any reasons for non-delivery of assigned tasks and continually working with stakeholders to eliminate causes of non-deliveryEnsuring scheduled servicing of all mobile & fixed plant is completed in a timely manner and recorded in accordance with company requirementsMajor works control – ensuring all materials are onsite, overseeing personnel on the job to ensure correct tagging and JHA's are in place, and staying with job to ensure it runs smoothlyCoordination of equipment downtime in conjunction with Maintenance and OperationsAssist in failure analysis when equipment fails unexpectedlyProvide data, analysis and advice on maintenance performance as requiredA proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standardsRequired skills and attributes: Strong administrative and management reporting skills.Sound communication skills.Sound computer skills with experience in the use of Microsoft Office.LEAN/Six Sigma trained would be advantageous.On Offer: Permanent full-time employment position - Job security with a consistent pipeline of workBe home every night – work-life balanceCorporate Employee BenefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramOne of the best-resourced workshops in Western AustraliaTo Apply: If you have the relevant skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you, please APPLY below.
